“J’fée o mieux”
An artistic auto edition
Une auto édition artistique
It is the fruit of encounters: on the ground, on walls, in person; encounters that took place during journeys that were sometimes long, but also very short. It is an accumulation of things that allowed me to step outside the city in which I stayed while still remaining within it, both feet firmly planted in it. It is a reading between the lines (not to say the entrails) of the metropolises into which I had to immerse myself in order to belong, if only for a moment.
From these small things that symbolize and immortalize my journey, and from these accumulated collections, emerge reflections, introspection, countless anecdotes, and a desire to share once again.
Like a kind of atlas of my finds, this book is an attempt to restore value to a discarded “object.” It is a celebration of something that, one day, was part of someone’s journey, and then, the next moment, was stripped of its value and relegated to the status of waste.
Picking up these objects is a pause in my journey. It is a moment of respite in my hurried movement, even when I am not late. It is a stopping point in time, and amid the bustle of crowds.
But then, how can joy emerge from a shopping list that does not even belong to me?
Through this edition, I will attempt to translate this deep fascination with the free and accidental poetry of the cities in which I have lived. In this first edition, you will find yourself at the heart of my collection; you will read a part of what my life has been, and I will share my treasures with you.
